Cantonese is the dialect used in Guangdong, Guangxi and Hong Kong. It's also a popular language amid the oversea Chinese. Traditional Chinese character is used in Cantonese but pronunciation defers from mandarin. Now Cantonese is in danger along with the policy that restricts Cantonese used in media and official occasion. Now only Hong Kong still has it as official language.
